Nominations are open from
Tues, 28 July until Mon, 24 August 2026 at 5:00 pm (AEST) for the inaugural WLBA Gala Dinner & Awards Night, to be held on Thurs, 1 October 2026.
Who Can Nominate?
Anyone can submit a nomination, including:
- Business owners
- Customers
- Employees
- Suppliers
- Community members
- Friends and colleagues

Presented by Cedar Woods
Recognises a business that demonstrates outstanding overall performance through business growth, leadership, operational excellence, customer outcomes, community contribution and long-term sustainability.
Innovation Excellence Award
Community Impact Award
Recognises a business, organisation, club or initiative that has made a meaningful and measurable contribution to improving the local community.
Women in Business Award
Recognises an inspiring woman who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, business achievement, resilience and a commitment to supporting others.
This award recognises an individual rather than simply a women-owned business.
Client Service Excellence Award
Active Lifestyle Excellence Award
Recognises businesses, clubs and organisations that make an outstanding contribution to health, fitness, recreation and community wellbeing.
Eligible entrants may include gyms, sporting clubs, fitness studios, allied health providers, yoga and Pilates businesses, recreation organisations and similar services.
Home Enterprise of the Year
Celebrates exceptional home-based businesses that demonstrate professionalism, innovation, customer value and strong growth while operating primarily from a residential premises.
What Makes a Strong Nomination?
Our independent judging panel is looking for evidence of excellence, not popularity.
Strong nominations typically demonstrate:
- Measurable achievements and outcomes
- Innovation and continuous improvement
- Strong leadership
- Outstanding customer or community impact
- Business growth or positive results
- Supporting examples or evidence where available
Our Judging Process
The Williams Landing Business Awards have been designed with fairness, transparency and integrity at their core.
Every eligible nomination is:

Public voting does not determine the winners.
Instead, winners are selected based on the strength of the evidence provided in their application and how well they demonstrate the award criteria.
Before You Start

The nomination process is straightforward.
You may be asked to provide information such as:
- A description of the business or individual
- Why they deserve recognition
- Key achievements during the judging period
- Examples of impact or measurable results
- Supporting documents, testimonials or links (where applicable)
Don’t worry if you don’t have extensive documentation. We encourage businesses and organisations of all sizes to nominate.
